Each year, our school hosts the John Flanagan Memorial Feis in Oxford. The feis is a charity feis held in honour of Marion’s father, John Flanagan, who died in 1999 and was the inspiration behind Marion’s teaching career. Proceeds from the feis are donated to a charity chosen by the school each year.
20th John Flanagan Memorial Feis – 19th & 20th May 2018
This year’s JFM feis is even more special than usual, because the feis is celebrating its 20th year!
In honour of the occasion, we have some exciting new features:
Priomh Comortas (graded premier trophy) in every grade, which gives you another chance to dance 2 of your graded dances and move them up to the next grade. Awards will be like a championship result with the top 5 getting trophies and sashes.
We will also have a larger championship stage this year, and a larger main hall.
We are also holding a ball on the Saturday night – 19th May – at the Kassam Conference and Events Centre £25 a ticket for a 3 course meal and band. Tickets are limited and if you would like to join us please let us know ASAP by contacting us.
All feis documents are here:
A huge thank you to all who attended the 2017 John Flanagan Memorial Feis. All proceeds will go to Cancer Research UK. A total figure on how much was raised will be published here as soon as it has all been counted!
